This evening, Iranian militias and the International Coalition forces exchanged shelling west of the Euphrates.
The Iranian militias deployed to the perimeter of the city of al-Mayadeen shelled the American base in the al-Omar oil field with rocket missiles. The International Coalition forces responded by airstrikes on Iranian posts on the perimeter of al-Mayadeen.
The Syrian Democratic Forces opened fire from heavy machine guns at the Assad forces’ outposts on the Euphrates bank opposite of the town of Ash-Shaheil.
These incidents followed American airstrikes on two Iranian militias’ outposts on the perimeter of the city of al-Bukamal on the Iraqi border, killing and injuring militias’ fighters.
