DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
Iran-backed militias suddenly evacuated a number of their military sites in the city of Albukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, last night, according to a correspondent for Deir Ezzor 24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the militia evacuated its headquarters located in the Human Resources Square, the vicinity of the silos area, behind Al-Maari School, and Al-Sab’een Street near the Al-Hijana area in Albukamal.
He added that it moved part of its old sites to the “Assad Forest” southwest of the city, and another part to the Al-Batin area in the Al-Hari desert near the Syrian-Iraqi border, where it contains tunnels and dungeons.
It is noteworthy that the militias have prepared underground warehouses to store weapons in the “Assad Forest.”
It is worth noting that the reasons for evacuating the headquarters are not yet known, amid reports that the militias fear that their headquarters will be targeted by airstrikes by the international coalition and Israeli aircraft.
