DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The Iranian-backed militias have assigned the task of buying houses throughout Deir Ezzor province to the so-called “Hajj Amir Al-Irani”, the administrative official of the militias, according to a special source for DeirEzzor24 Network.
The source said that “Hajj Amir” has a headquarters in the Hawijat Sakr area in Deir Ezzor city, and recruits people to help him and work as brokers who secure the purchase of houses and real estate in Deir Ezzor, in exchange for a commission they receive.
The Iranian-backed militias have focused their activities on buying real estate in the destroyed neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city, most notably Al-Hamidiyah neighborhood, Six Except a Quarter Street, and the “Abu Abed” area.
During their tours, the brokers target destroyed houses or those whose owners have left due to displacement or travel, to buy those houses at low prices.
It is noteworthy that the Revolutionary Guards militia has worked, since the beginning of this year, to buy many lands, houses, and facilities in Deir Ezzor province as part of efforts to control and make a demographic change in the region.
