The month of November of this year marked the first anniversary of the civilians who were killed in Deir Ezzor last year, which was the highest civilian death toll in Syria at that time.
The civilian casualties on November 2015 reached 184, 144 were killed by Assad’s forces and 40 at the hands of Daesh. This coincided with the Russian intervention in Syria that has worsened the civilian situation by the indiscriminate targeting of civilian homes and gatherings in the province.
