According to a reporter of the DeirEzzzor24 network, the second convoy, part of the “Return to Home” campaign, arrived in the city of Al-Quriyah, east of Deir Ezzor, yesterday evening.
Our reporter said that the convoy included 21 trucks, transporting 63 families from the city, coming from northern Syria, where they had been residing in the city of Jarabulus.
In an exclusive interview with DeirEzzor24 Network, Assaf Al-Masoud, one of the returning residents of Al-Quriyah, expressed his overwhelming happiness at returning to his hometown after a forced absence of nearly eight years. He noted that the moment he arrived in his homeland was filled with mixed feelings of joy and longing.
The “Return to Home” campaign was launched as a generous initiative, funded by Hajj Muhyiddin from brotherly Lebanon, as part of efforts to support the people of Deir Ezzor in returning to their homes and restoring normalcy.
