The Iranian activity is increasing in the areas of Deir Ezzor which are controlled by the Assad forces and the Russian and Iranian militias.

Sources for D24 said that representatives of Iranian personalities operate in Al-Mayadeen city in Deir Ezzor countryside, buying shops and properties of the people of Al-Mayadeen city.

One of the civilians, who asked not to be named, said that one person called him and offered him 15 million Syrian pounds to buy his house, which costs only 5 million pounds, and he added that one of his relatives was offered 25 million SYP for his shop, which costs only 9 million Syrian pounds.

It is noteworthy that the Iranian activity of buying properties in Deir Ezzor began quickly in the city soon after the Assad and Russian forces took control over the city, where Iranians’ agents pay large amounts of money to buy houses and shops through formal contracts.
