DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
House rents have increased in the city of Deir Ezzor, which is witnessing a rise in all aspects of livelihood amidst the absence of job opportunities, and the inability of international organizations to assist the local populations , as promises are made without any response on the ground, in a new crisis added to the crises of residents in the city.
The rents of Al-Qusour neighborhood houses reached about 200 SYP, noting that they were previously 150 SYP. They also increased to 125,000 SYP in the neighborhoods of Al-Joura and Al-Wadi, after they were at 100 SYP, and 100 thousand in the neighborhoods of Al-Jubaila and Al-Hamidiyah, while it was 75 thousand.
The UNHCR had promised the refugees to create a support fund for the poor and renters, but nothing was implemented.
