Hezbollah militia has appointed a new commander in the city of Albukamal, an Iraqi national who is responsible for security in the area and is called “Hajj Sarmed”, according to what the correspondent of Deirzzor24 Network reported.
Our correspondent said that “Sarmed” is a leader in Hezbollah militia, who participated in the battles of Albukamal earlier against ISIS and stayed in Albukamal for one year before returning to Iraq.
Hezbollah militia seeks, through his appointment, to increase coordination between the Syrian and Iraqi sides, especially the borders and the smuggling gateway.
