DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
In the few days, wheat harvesting machines, “harvesters”, began to enter regime-controlled areas through river crossings in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, coming from SDF-controlled areas, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24.
He said that the cost of crossing each vehicle reaches 5 million SYP, this amount is distributed as transit fees for the Fourth Division, and a fare for river ferries that carry these vehicles.
He stressed that the harvesters are mostly heading to the lands of the third sector (Marayah, Al Buleel and Mohassan), which exceed 12,000 hectares, most of which are subject to the pilgrims of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia and the influential in Deir Ezzor.
He pointed out that one of the harvesters sank, two days ago, while trying to load it on the ferry, on the outskirts of the Euphrates River, to be recovered and extracted later.
The value of the harvest per hectare ranges from 50 to 55 thousand SYP.
