More harrowing crimes are being committed in the tribal-dominated Deir Ezzor province amidst the forced displacements, looting activities, arbitrary arrests, and discriminatory strikes.
Abd Al Diyan Al-Qalass from Sbikhan town, eastern Deir Ezzor, killed the three-year-old child Amuna Jihad Al Shami, bearing in mind that she is the niece of his wife. He tortured her by several means, including stabbing out cigarettes on her body.
The child had survived Assad barrel bombs and Russian barbaric airstrikes after crossing to SDF-held areas. It was not expected that she would be killed by more brutal methods.
