DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The village of Al-Suway’iyah in Al-Bukamal countryside east of Deir Ezzor is witnessing crowding and long queues in front of gas stations due to the fuel crisis, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network reported.
Our correspondent said that the residents in all areas controlled by Assad’s forces in Deir Ezzor are suffering from the fuel crisis.
The Revolutionary Guards militia controls the oil wells in Albukamal and operates them only for the benefit of its forces. It also monopolizes the import and sale of fuel and prevents its sale except through its representatives.
The militia also controls the river crossings that connect it to the SDF areas. It exploits them to smuggle fuel to Albukamal and Al-Mayadeen and then sell it at high prices through agents or the gas stations it controls.
