A military force consisting of 10 armoured vehicles belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the international coalition helicopters, carried out raids on a neighborhood in Ash-Shahil town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside last night, Monday, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
In the details, our correspondent said that a military column of the SDF coming from al-omar oil field, stormed Ash-Shahil town at midnight, surrounded several houses near the former telephone center in the town, and raided several houses, which resulted in the arrest of a number of people.
The correspondent confirmed that a number of those arrested in the campaign were former Daesh elements, and that civilians were also arrested in the campaign.
Local sources said that the two children “Raed and Rami al-Rahim” and their father were arrested during the operation and taken to an unknown place, while the reason for their arrest is still unknown.
It is noteworthy that the SDF along with the international coalition occasionally conduct security campaigns in all over Deir Ezzor countryside which is under the control of the SDF.
