After midnight last night, an unknown aircraft targeted the Syrian-Iraqi border with four raids, resulting in deaths among the ranks of the Iranian-backed militias and civilian injuries, according to what was monitored by the reporters of Deir Ezzor 24 Network.
Our reporters said that the raids targeted the vicinity of the military gate near the Al-Hari village school in the Albukamal countryside, and a site for the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces militia, and resulted in the killing of 3 elements of Iraqi nationality, followed by a full alert by the Revolutionary Guards militia within the city of Albukamal and its surroundings, and the aircraft launched several raids within Iraqi territory near the border.
Our correspondent added that the Revolutionary Guards militia launched 3 missiles from the vicinity of the Deir Ezzor military airport towards the international coalition base in the “Conoco Gas Plant”, to be responded to directly by the international coalition by launching six missiles targeting the radar battalion on the outskirts of Deir Ezzor airport, and the rural development headquarters in the Harabesh neighborhood affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards militia, resulting in the killing of no less than 5 elements, 4 of whom were recovered from their bodies.
A number of civilians were injured in the strikes that targeted the Revolutionary Guard militia sites, at midnight last night, including a person who was critically injured from the Harabesh neighborhood east of Deir Ezzor city.
