DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The length of the Iraqi convoy that entered Deir Ezzor province three days ago was about 2.5 km, consisting of four-wheel drive military vehicles and modern jeeps and Santa Fe, all of them flying the Iraqi Mobilization (yellow) flags, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He added that pictures of “Qasim Soleimani”, “Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis” and “Khamenei” were placed on the front of the vehicles, and that the convoy was led by the so-called “Hajj Moayed,” spokesman of the Iraqi Mobilization Authority. The convoy was not searched at all and it entered through Al-Bukamal crossing under the aid of transporting aid for those affected by the earthquake.
He confirmed that the convoy included food, relief and fuel aid. Furthermore, it also included new batches of weapons, including missile launchers, Iran-made drones, which were transported to Al-Mayadin area and the Ayyash warehouses, west of the city of Deir Ezzo. This is the second batch of of weapons that have been transported to those areas this month. On the other hand, some vehicles were targeted by airstrikes , while others managed to reach their targets.
The second batch is also for the Iraqi PMF, which brought in engineering equipment for excavation work, loaded on loader trucks, under the pretext of transporting aid to the earthquake victims in the areas controlled by the Assad regime in the province of Lattakia, Aleppo and Hama.
