The General Electricity Company of Deir Ezzor Governorate continues to implement its work aimed at improving the conditions of the electrical system and maintaining networks in various areas of the governorate, as part of a plan aimed at enhancing the stability of electrical supply and rehabilitating damaged infrastructure.
A source in the company explained that, during the past few days, technical crews completed the work of withdrawing low-tension networks and preparing transformer panels in the Al-Ezz Al-Din and Al-Jaffal communities in the town of Mehkan, by the crews of the Al-Mayadeen Electricity Department in cooperation with the Mahkan Emergency Center.
The source added that the workshops returned electrical power to the Mehkan and Taiba Agricultural Associations, after completing the work of withdrawing and reconnecting the networks, following the damage to the electrical structure as a result of the Euphrates River flood.
In the city of Deir Ezzor, technical workshops returned the Al-Hamidiyah neighborhood line to service, after repairing the damage resulting from an attempt to steal ground cables, and rehabilitating the damaged parts, ensuring the stability of the electrical current and continued supply to subscribers
