The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Deir Ezzor, in cooperation with PUI, began the work of rehabilitating and replacing sewage networks in Al-Ommal neighborhoods, kanamat and Khasarat, as part of a plan aimed at addressing the damage and deterioration of infrastructure and improving the service status in the city.
The project includes the implementation of sewage networks with a total length of approximately 3,400 meters, in addition to the establishment of new inspection rooms, which will contribute to raising the efficiency of the network, improving maintenance operations, and ensuring continuity of service.
The works in the Kanamat and Khasarat neighborhoods include the implementation of a sewage line with a length of 920 meters with a diameter of 40 cm, while in the employees’ neighborhood, branch lines with a length of 1,250 meters with a diameter of 40 cm are being implemented, in addition to a main line with a length of 300 meters and a diameter of 50 cm.
The project is part of efforts to rehabilitate the service infrastructure in Deir Ezzor, improve the efficiency of sewage networks, and improve the level of services provided to the residents.
