Assad regime’s Health Directorate opened a Covid 19 vaccination center in its areas of control in the clinic of Al-Husseiniyah town in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside due to the increase number of Covid 19 cases in the region.
People refused to receive the vaccine at the center due to a lack of trust in it, in addition to rumors talking about the vaccine that it caused heart attacks to some of those who received it, but the directorate sent teams to raise awareness among the people of the villages.
In the past few days, hundreds of cases were detected in the towns and villages of Deir Ezzor and dozens of deaths were registered due to the pandemic, and some towns have reached the point that they were declared disaster areas due to the widespread of the virus.
