DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
According to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network, the Iraqi convoys heading to Homs and Lebanon pose a threat to the people of Deir Ezzor traveling from Deir Ezzor to Damascus.
Our reporter said that the drivers of passenger buses “Pullman” are forced to pass these convoys several times while traveling from Deir Ezzor to Damascus, which include hundreds of tankers loaded with fuel in addition to small trucks and closed refrigerators.
He added that the drivers feel the real danger between the city of Palmyra and Homs, where the small “pick-up” cars belonging to the Hezbollah militia lead the convoy’s path in addition to the escort cars of the Revolutionary Guard militia, which makes it a road of death in the face of repeated Israeli targeting.
All convoys enter through the Al-Bukamal crossing, and each convoy includes about 300 cars flying the Iraqi flag and heading towards the city of Al-Qusayr in Homs Governorate towards the Lebanese territory.
