Car markets in Deir Ezzor have recently experienced a noticeble boom, with the opening of new companies and the import of multiples types of cars and vehicles.
A reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network showed that car prices in the city range now between 2,000 and 25,000 USD, with prices keep on declining as more company branches open in the city.
Ahmad Al-Abdullah, the owner of a car showroom, stated that they previously worked in Idlib, and after the overthrown of the former regime, they started opening showrooms and company branches in Deir Ezzor.
He continued that car prices in the city are similar to those in northern Syria, with only the cost of transporting the cars from the north to Deir Ezzor added.
Some new companies in Deir Ezzor are facilitating the process of shipping cars for individuals from neighboring countries to the city by importing them and streamlining the necessary paperwork according to customs rules and regulations.
Tens of companies based in the cities of Sarmada and Dana have opened branches in Deir Ezzor, establishing main branches for their operations in the eastern region.
