Electricity in Deir Ezzor is rationed for seven hours, followed by two hours of feeding.
Over the past few days, the Electricity Directorate in Deir Ezzor has leaked news that electricity rationing will decrease to 4 hours followed by two hours of feeding.
These rumors have been met with a wave of sarcasm mixed with anger by the people of Deir Ezzor in Assad regime-controlled areas, who got fed up with the bad services provided by the directorates of Assad government.
Deir Ezzor is one of the Syrian provinces that Assad regime has neglected since the rule of Hafez Assad, despite the fact that the province is of great economic importance to Syria, as it contains a lot of underground and agricultural wealth.
