The National Defense (ND) militia intensified patrols on the Deir Ezzor-Palmyra highway and established two temporary checkpoints in the al-Banorama area.
The Assad forces’ 4th Division fortified their outposts in the al-Banorama area by setting concrete barriers and deploying pick up vehicles and armored vehicles. The 4th Division blocked the highway this afternoon.
