The al-Quds Liwaa militia opened a new field hospital in the village of Aiyash, western Deir Ezzor.
The militia opened the hospital in a house that it seized near the Kuwaiti Salem building.
The militia decided to open the hospital after frequent attacks on Iranian and Russian posts in the western Deir Ezzor Badiya, as it is difficult to transport injured fighters to hospitals in the city of Deir Ezzor.
There are no public hospitals in areas western Deir Ezzor. The field hospital is the first of its kind in the area even if it is dedicated for militias.
