The leaders and elders of Al-Tabiya town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside met elements and commanders from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Al-Tabiya town east of Deir Ezzor.
The meeting was attended by commanders from the Iranian militias deployed in Deir Ezzor, and Nawaf Al-Bashir, the commander of the Iranian militia “Baqer”.
D24 network obtained a video showing the meeting with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Al-Tabiya town.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards had previously met with their militia commanders and the people who had recently converted to Shiite faith in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
Iran is seeking to spread Shiite faith in the areas it controls in Deir Ezzor countryside, through monetary and food assistance to the population.
