DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
With Emirati funding, the so-called “Nawaf al-Bashir” began to attract new members from the people of Deir Ezzor province to form a new militia with a tribal character, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the new militia will be under the mission of a joint Syrian-Emirati defense under the name of the clans as well, and under the leadership and supervision of “Nawaf al-Bashir.”
He added that those wanted to join this militia will range in age from 18 to 40 years, wanted for compulsory or reserve service or civilian volunteers, with a monthly wage of $300.
The militia began to receive those wishing to volunteer, amid a large turnout in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, through delegates, most of whom were mayors, notables, and shabiha, who had previously been recruited by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and al-Qaterji.
