A special source for DeirEzzor24 Network said that elements of the Lebanese and Iraqi Hezbollah militia are still present in the Albukamal area and the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The source added that what happened was only the transfer of Lebanese leaders and trainers to Lebanon and the reduction of the elements’ missions and confining them to their headquarters so that a rumor can be spread that the Hezbollah militia has withdrawn and their headquarters in Albukamal are not targeted.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Hezbollah militia is very active inside Albukamal these days, especially when bringing in weapons trucks belonging to the militia and carefully escorting them until they leave Albukamal.
