Since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, municipality patrols have begun to roam the markets of the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, imposing heavy fines on stall owners and small carts, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the checkpoints of the Fourth Division have prevented the entry of vegetable and commercial trucks into the city of Al-Bukamal, since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, which led to an increase in the prices of sugar, rice, eggs and flour.
The prices of foodstuffs and vegetables witnessed a noticeable increase with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, so that the municipality and the Fourth Division’s measures came to increase the suffering of the people.
