A secret crossing on the Euphrates River linking areas controlled by the Assad regime and the SDF was recently discovered, which belongs to the head of the General Intelligence Directorate, Daoud Al-Toukan, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that the secret crossing is located west of the “Al-Daraj” crossing in the Al-Baghiliyah neighborhood and is used for smuggling activities of all sorts.
It is noteworthy that “Daoud Al-Toukan”, who is known as “Daoud Al-Fadhila”, is a member of the Baggara tribe and lives in the Al-Dahiya neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor. He is linked to commercial relations and military affairs with the members of his tribe on the other side of the SDF-controlled areas.
