An armed clash broke out two days ago between the Al-Quds Brigade militia and the Fourth Division checkpoint in Al-Baghiliyah, west of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to the reporter, the dispute was due to the refusal of the Al-Quds Brigade militia to pay smuggling fees to the Fourth Division, on materials coming from SDF-controlled areas through the river crossings.
This dispute is the second of its kind between the two parties within less than a month in the same region.
