DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Two days ago, more than 6 Iraqi buses loaded with members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia entered the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the buses were carrying Shiite visitors, “pilgrims,” coming to visit the holy places in Deir Ezzor and Damascus.
Ambulances belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia also entered from the same crossing point to be distributed to points, sites and medical centers affiliated with the Iranian militia in areas under its control in Deir Ezzor.
Iranian militias are taking advantage of the Assad regime’s facilitation for Iraqis to enter Syrian territory directly without obtaining an entry visa, to introduce their members under the names of “cultural” and “religious, therapeutic and commercial tourism.”
