The Syrian Arab Red Crescent Dispensary in Hasakah continues to provide basic healthcare services to residents, particularly those living in the surrounding neighborhoods and countryside, amid rising treatment costs and difficulties accessing medical services.
The dispensary includes clinics for children, women in addition to a laboratory and a pharmacy, where it provides examinations, laboratory tests, and available medications according to available capabilities.
More than 3,500 people benefited from the clinic’s services from the beginning of 2026 until the end of July, with support from the Norwegian Red Cross, which contributed to providing basic health services to a wide segment of the population.
Dispensary services help ease the financial burden on families, especially those with limited income, by combining examinations, basic specialties, tests and medications in one place, which reduces the costs of transportation and health care and allows families to access basic medical services more easily.
