The outpatient clinics department at the National Hospital in Raqqa recorded 7,183 medical visits during the month of May, distributed across various specialties, reflecting the continued demand for health services provided by the hospital.
The head of the outpatient clinics department, Dr. Maher Mustafa Kaakaji, explained that the internal diseases clinic topped the number of patients visited with 1,428 patients, followed by the orthopedic surgery clinic with 1,321 patients, then the ear clinic with 924 patients, while the urology clinic received 815 patients, and the ophthalmology clinic received 718 patients.
He added that the dermatology clinic received 554 patients, followed by the neurological clinic with 486 patients, then the general surgery clinic with 390 patients, while the number of visitors to the endocrinology clinic reached 231 patients, and the bandage clinic reached 216 patients.
Kaakaji pointed out that the chest clinic recorded 53 visits, while the hematology clinic received 43 patients during the same period.
He stressed that these figures reflect the quantity of medical services provided at the National Hospital in Raqqa, and the role played by outpatient clinics in meeting the needs of patients from various areas of the governorate.
