Today, the Chiefship of the Hajin City Water Unit announced the restart of the main drinking water station and its official entry into service, following the completion of the work of equipping and rehabilitating its engines.
The head of the unit explained that the work teams have completed all the necessary technical procedures to restart the station, ensuring the resumption of pumping drinking water to residential neighborhoods and meeting the needs of residents.
He added that the specialized teams implemented earthen barriers on the Euphrates River side in order to protect the station from water reaching it, in light of the rise in the river level during the past few days, which necessitated taking precautionary measures to maintain the safety of the facility and the continuation of its work.
These steps come within the efforts made to ensure the stability of water services in the city, and to ensure regular access to drinking water for residents, which contributes to maintaining the continuity of basic services and improving the level of service provided to residents.
