DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
Joint patrols of Assad forces raided the homes of drug and hashish dealers in the city of Albukamal, and arrested a number of them, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network reported.
Our correspondent said that the joint patrols were able to arrest 5 dealers, and some of them fled.
He added that this campaign against some drug dealers in Albukamal came because they refused to pay sums of money to the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards militia as a tribute in exchange for allowing them to trade drugs in Albukamal and its surroundings.
It is noteworthy that the drug and hashish trade is widespread in the city of Albukamal under the protection of the Iranian-backed militias, as any dealer who refuses to work for these militias is arrested.
