With the start of the opening of nominations for the People’s Assembly in the building of the General Secretariat of the Deir Ezzor Provincial Council, which extends until the end of the official working hours next Sunday, dozens have submitted nomination applications, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that the number of applicants for candidacy has exceeded 200 candidates for the first and second categories so far, most of whom are unknown and have limited income, and who do not have any ambition for these positions, but with the aim of earning money from the well-known candidates in exchange for withdrawing from the nomination and making room for the well-known candidates, especially Among the Baath Party candidates.
One of the candidates told the Deir Ezzor 24 network that he would receive 5 million Syrian pounds in exchange for his withdrawal, which would be paid by a well-known candidate who declined to mention his name.
