The complaints of the residents of the town of Al-Marayyah to the Political Security branch in Deir Ezzor did not succeed against the sons of the “Ghadban” who took the lands of the town of Al-Mariya in the Deir Ezzor countryside.
In the details, the correspondent of the DeirEzzor24 network said that the so-called “Munir Al-Qaisum Al-Ghadban”, on the authority of his cousin “Hassan Al-Ghadban”, the leader in the Fourth Division and the brother of the Secretary of the Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor, “Raed Al-Ghadban”, recently leased the entire lands of Hawija Al-Mare’iya, which has an area of about 1,700 acres, at a price of 60,000 Syrian pounds per acre, with a total amount of more than 100 million pounds for more than 15 farmers who are investors from Deir Ezzor.
The citizens who rented the land were reviewed by the Political Security branch, after complaints from the townspeople, but it failed after Al-Ghadban showed fake contracts signed by the Peasants’ Union and certified by the Baath Party branch, in addition to a list of some land owners that they are wanted by the regime.
“Munir al-Qaysum” is also the brother of the commander of the Baath Brigades in Deir Ezzor called “Abu Ayed”, and he is known to be the arm of oppression and slander and the management of the Ghadhban drug trade in Deir Ezzor.
