The people of Al-Mayadeen and its countryside are suffering from the high price of bread and the low quality of it in most areas, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network reported.
Our correspondent said that the price of a loaf of bread today is 4,500 Syrian pounds, which contains 12 loaves, and is purchased using a smart card. Its price was 1,000 thousand pounds before the fall of the regime, but it was only available in small quantities.
He added that in the village of Al-Taas, affiliated with the town of Mahkan, the quality of bread is very poor, and it is not available in a way that meets the needs of the people of the village, as each family is allocated one loaf per day, whether it is a large or small family, amid demands from the people of Al-Taas to improve the quality of bread and provide it.
It is noteworthy that the problem of providing bread at good prices and improving its quality is one of the most important concerns that the people of Deir Ezzor suffer from in general and Al-Mayadeen and its countryside in particular.
