Zainabiyon militia, which is affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Militia (IRGC), sent some of its members to Damascus to visit shiite sacred shrines, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that the militia sent 30 members by air from Deir Ezzor airport, to avoid crossing the Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway.
He confirmed that the militia dressed its members in civilian clothing for security reasons.
Iranian militias send their members in religious visits from Deir Ezzor to areas in Damascus, that contain religious shrines such as al-Sayyida Zeinab and al-Sayyida Ruqaya shrines.
