The Khasarat neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor recently witnessed the return of dozens of residents who had been displaced over the past years, according to a correspondent from DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent reported that dozens of families from the neighborhood have returned after being displaced to northern Syria and the Jazira region, following the restoration and repair of their homes.
Residents of the neighborhood are suffering from power outages and a weak water network, with some residential areas not receiving any water at all.
Nasser Al-Ahmad, a local resident, confirmed that electricity does not reach their homes, calling on the electricity company to intervene and provide power to the inhabited houses.
He added that dozens of residents have returned, restored, and rehabilitated their homes, and are now living in them again after a long period of displacement and forced migration.
He also appealed to the relevant authorities to provide essential services and to reopen the roads leading to the neighborhood, in order to facilitate the return of all residents.
