In a move aimed at supporting the agricultural sector and reducing the burdens on farmers, water pumps were operated in the village of Mathloum, with support from the Agricultural Association, which contributes to securing the irrigation water needs of agricultural lands and enhancing farmers’ ability to continue their agricultural work.

This step comes in light of the vital importance that water pumping systems and irrigation equipment represent in supporting the production process, especially in light of farmers’ reliance on them to provide the water needs of crops, maintain continuity of production and improve the state of agricultural lands.

The Agricultural Association continues its role in following up on farmers’ affairs and working to meet their needs, in coordination with the relevant authorities, and seeking to overcome the obstacles they face, in a way that enhances the components of agricultural work and contributes to supporting production and improving the living conditions of families who depend on agriculture as a major source of livelihood.

Farmers expressed their hope that operating the pumps would contribute to reducing the burdens placed on them and ensuring the continued provision of irrigation water on a regular basis, which would reflect positively on crop growth and investment of agricultural land, and support agricultural and living stability in the village.

Operating water pumps is an important step in supporting farmers and enhancing agricultural production in the village of Mathloum, while emphasizing the importance of continued maintenance and follow-up to ensure the efficient operation of the pumps and achieve the desired benefits.
