DeirEzzor24 correspondent said that helicopters of the international coalition targeted Iranian positions, at dawn today, on the outskirts of the city of Al-Mayadin, east of Deir Ezzor.
Our correspondent said that militias affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps responded to the raid by firing heavy anti-aircraft guns at the helicopter without scoring direct hits on the targets.
He added that since the morning, the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which is under the control of the Assad regime, has witnessed an intense flight of helicopters, warplanes and drones.
He confirmed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia had evacuated its positions in the Hawija Sakr area of Deir Ezzor and some of its points of concentration in different areas of the city for fear of renewed targeting by US and international coalition .
It should be noted that the Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor witnessed an intense day yesterday. The dawn began with American strikes on their warehouses in the town of Ayash, west of Deir Ezzor, and was completed at the beginning of the evening by targeting their points in Hawija Sakr and Al-Mayadin.
