The health awareness team of the Water and Sanitation Management Unit, affiliated with the Red Crescent branch in Deir Ezzor, carried out a field visit in the city of Mohassan under the supervision of the city’s municipal council.
The visits included holding awareness sessions for residents about scabies and lice, providing guidance and necessary advice to limit the spread of these two diseases. Family data was also recorded as part of the health response plan aimed at providing essential support to the area’s inhabitants.
In the same context, the non-food assistance distribution team of the Red Crescent, in cooperation with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), conducted a field visit in the town of Al-Bu Amr under the supervision of the municipal council. The team registered the data of families returning to the town, followed up on their conditions, and provided them with the necessary support through various humanitarian aid services.
These visits come as part of the Red Crescent’s efforts to provide health and relief support to the local population and improve their living conditions amid the current circumstances.
