Yesterday night, the Russian-backed Fifth Corps brought heavy weapons to the villages and towns of the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which are under the control of Assad’s forces and militias, according to what DeirEzzor24 Network monitored.
Our correspondent said that among the weapons that were brought in were a tank stationed in the town of Khasham, and two field artillery in each of Marat and Mazloum Fawqani.
These reinforcements of the Fifth Corps in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor come as part of the preparation of the Assad forces and the Russian forces for any attack that the coalition and SDF might launch against the seven villages.
