The Hydrocarbons Directorate “Sadcop” launched the process of distributing agricultural diesel in the countryside and towns of the governorate according to a two-slice system to meet the needs of the agricultural sector.
The Directorate explained that the first slice includes subsidized diesel at a price of 25 cents per liter, equivalent to about 3,400 Syrian pounds, and is distributed through the main points and according to prior schedules, and aims to support irrigated agricultural projects.
The second slice includes quantities allocated to harvesters, amounting to 14,000 liters, in addition to allocating 1,000 liters for each agricultural tractor, without announcing the approved price for these quantities yet.
The Directorate confirmed that this system aims to regulate the distribution of diesel and ensure that support reaches those who deserve it within the agricultural sector in the governorate.
