Two days ago, the Deir Ezzor Endowments Directorate held a meeting for representatives of the governorate’s mosques, which included a representative from each mosque (imam, muezzin, or mosque servant), according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that Endowment officials asked those in charge of mosques to play the Qur’an in the event of an external radio, add a second call to prayer for the morning prayer, adhere to the titles of Friday sermons specified by the Endowment, and emphasize prayers for the president and the army, in addition to adhering to providing all donations collected in mosques during the month of Ramadan. To the Endowments Directorate, providing the mosques with their needs later according to statements and receipts, in addition to asking attendees to inform the Endowments of every matter that requires accountability.
It should be noted that the Endowments Directorate in Deir Ezzor is directly subject to the security branches, and receives instructions from them in a manner consistent with the security line of the Assad regime.
