A cautious calm prevails in the city of Al-Bukamal and its desert east of Deir Ezzor, days after the air strikes on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that Al-Qaim border crossing had resumed its work, after days of suspension due to the recent strikes.
He added that commercial trucks have crossed through the gate since yesterday, and closed trucks are still stationed near the gate and waiting for an opportunity to enter Syria under the pretext of being “humanitarian relief”.
It is worth noting that the military gate belonging to the Iranian militias, in the town of Al-Hari in the Al-Bukamal countryside, has also returned to work
