With the entry into force of the decision to cancel support for specific citizens, hundreds of people in Deir Ezzor are deprived of domestic gas, fuels needed for heating, food supplies, and subsidized bread.
The decision included the presence of a traveler among the family members or owning a car with an engine capacity of more than 1500 or a 2008 model and above. The regime also considers this type of car among those whose owners must pay medium and high taxes, in addition to owners of commercial records from owners of ovens or gas stations who were identified by the Ministry of Interior and Consumer Protection.
According to the Ministry’s estimates, the number of people deprived of support has reached nearly 600,000 people
