The Russian forces distributed food aid to the people of towns east of the Euphrates, in an attempt to win their hearts and support the return of the displaced from the seven villages to their areas, against the background of their rejection of the Russian presence in their areas, and the increase in Iranian activity.
The distributed food basket included two liters of oil, 4 kg of flour, a kilo of rice, 200 grams of tea and 4 cans of “Nestlé” condensed milk, which aroused ridicule among the people, as an area in Deir Ezzor is not free from the consequences and remnants of the huge Russian bombing that led to widespread destruction in most of the province neighborhoods. On the other hand, its contribution to the living and social conditions is very low.
