The commander of the IRGC militia in Al-Bukamal, Haj Askar, visited the Syrian-Iraqi border, and met commanders of the Popular Mobilization Militia in the border village of Al-Hari, with the aim of carrying out a joint combing operation in the border area to stop the smuggling operations outside their control.
It should be poined out that the anti-narcotics agency in Ramadi recently thwarted the smuggling of hundreds of thousands of Captagon pills coming from areas controlled by Iranian militias. The IRGC have been held responsible for the operation because they are the ones who control the border crossings.
