A delegation from the Qatari UCC Group visited the Al-Taym power facility yesterday, where they identified the locations of the thermal stations and the Deir Ezzor power plant with a capacity of 750 megawatts, in addition to the site for a solar power station.
During the tour, the delegation reviewed the current state of the substations at the facility and gave assurances that work will be carried out to rehabilitate the three substations: 400 kV, 230 kV, and 66 kV.
The delegation requested that the designated area be surveyed as quickly as possible to ensure it is free of landmines so that work can begin promptly.
It is worth noting that the Governor of Deir Ezzor r, Mr. Ghassan Al-Sayyed Ahmad, has instructed technical teams to fully prepare the designated area to facilitate the company’s mission.
