The Panorama checkpoint, shared by State Security and Military Security, detained a number of people returning from Beirut to Deir Ezzor province, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our reporter said that some of the detainees are wanted for compulsory and reserve service, and were detained despite carrying an assignment paper that includes reviewing the Euphrates Recruitment Division or other recruitment divisions.
Other checkpoints extort sums of money reaching hundreds of thousands of liras to allow them to pass.
